Con Edison utilizes various methods to sell surplus or scrap materials. Blanket contracts are used for the sale of scrap metals from electric cables and equipment. For surplus materials sales, contact chrisafist@coned.com.

Accommodation Sales
Sale of company stock items to third parties are permitted if such items are urgently needed, Con Edison is the only timely available source of the item, and the items will be used on projects using Con Edison or another utility's energy on its system lines.

Sale of Retired Vehicles
Con Edison does not sell vehicles directly to the public. All vehicles are auctioned off through the following agencies:
