Outcome: Participants will understand and perform basic HVAC-related maintenance procedures. Critical Consequences (C2) - Contact with the eyes, skin or if inhaled may cause serious injury and death to the employee or the public. Some refrigerants are toxic, flammable and reactive. The refrigerant may cause a fire or explosion. Some will deplete the Ozone layer of the atmosphere. Refrigerant vapors may displace breathing air in unventilated spaces.Improper work or safety practices can result in electrical shock or electrocution to the employee. Contact of cloth or body parts may cause injury to the employee. "Ethical Awareness" is integrated into program modules to maintain ethical behavior and enhance the students understanding of our Corporate Values.
