Ideal candidate should have experience in supporting development and Production environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to create and manage project plans.
• Ability to lead small technical teams.
• Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of hands on experience on Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Installation, configuration, maintenance troubleshooting and support.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years Oracle DBA experience and clear understanding of Oracle Databases including current 10g/11g.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) 10g/11g on UNIX/Linux platforms preferably HP-UX/Red Hat Linux.
• Hands on experience with Oracle BI applications/tech stack/database upgrades, cloning, patching, Catalog/Repository Migrations, and backups/recovery.
• Experience in Integration OBIEE with Oracle Single Sign-on (SSO) and Oracle Internet Directory (OID)
• Experience in Installation and Configuration of OBIEE in High Availability cluster mode for Analytics, BI Publisher & Scheduler.
• Good understanding and exposure using Load Balancer required for OBIEE with SSL Offloading & SSL configurations.
• Good understanding & exposure on Storage, Network, server technology, operating systems.






Additional Preferred Skills

A good understanding of storage, network, server technology and operating systems is strongly preferred. Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Suite is a plus. Candidate should have ability to research, evaluate and recommend technical solutions. Excellent planning, research, time management, and decision making skill and the ability to multi task and suggest problem resolutions is a plus.

• Hands on experience on Installation and configuration of Oracle Identity Management Infrastructure and Single Sign On (SSO).
• Exposure or exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite Application Administration R12/11i

Responsibilities: Administer multiple versions of Oracle on multiple platforms. Create new databases. Installation, Configuration and upgrades to the Oracle Enterprise System, E Business, Performance Management, Oracle Core technology product databases, applications servers, middleware and security management. Upgrade databases and apply security patches. Migrate database schema changes from Development to Integration Test and Production environments. Work closely with Infrastructure in server/storage/network configurations Troubleshooting application failures including performance and database connectivity problems and job failures. Assist with database performance monitoring and tuning. Perform backup and recovery of databases. Design and implement disaster recovery methodology including creation of database backup and fail over jobs. Interface with vendors to ensure adherence to corporate standards where applicable. Support off-hour Production problem resolution, scheduled database migrations, upgrades and patching. Consult on database design.

The successful candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills. The ability to render good business decisions, work with minimal supervision, and handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines is essential. The candidate must be able to interact with all levels of management.


An Associate’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree is desired, preferably in Computer Science, as well as knowledge and experience in analysis and design of application systems. The applicant must have prior mainframe experience on an MVS/TSO environment with JCL 370 and must have at least five (5) years experience with the following mainframe disciplines: Cobol/Cobol II, VSAM, ISAM, DB2, and IMS databases. Knowledge of ASP.Net, Crystal Reports, SQLServer, and MS SharePoint is a plus. The applicant must have at least five (5) years of data processing experience to include analysis and design of application systems which include inventory, cost allocation and invoice payments. The applicant must have several years experience with Windows and Windows-based application software skills using Microsoft Office Suite, working in Microsoft Windows 2003 and Windows XP operating systems.

The individual will perform application development, application maintenance and business analysis in support of the various applications in use by Information Resources’ Contract Administration section. The individual will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the existing telecommunications and computer inventory, cost allocation, vendor invoice payment systems and interfaces to the corporate accounting applications. In conjunction with the business owner, decides on the prioritization and implementation of software upgrades and applies them in a timely manner. Meets with the business owner regularly and keeps them abreast of related system issues which may impact activities performed by the Contract Administration section.

The individual will identify and resolve information flow, content issues and transform business requirement information and will recommend tools and methodologies to be used for managing data.

The individual will code, test and implement new systems and/or modify existing applications. Will assist in the formulation of application objectives and system development requirements. Perform complex systems analysis and design tasks, provide project leadership, prepare detail project plans, and prepare system documentation and schedules. Perform unit, system and user acceptance testing and debugging. Must be willing to learn and serve as a backup to other analysts and perform all other related tasks as required. The individual must adhere to all safety, health and environmental company policies.
