Qualifications: The Edison Project is seeking a dedicated professional for its management team. The successful candidate must understand the vital importance of commitment to excellence and providing exemplary customer service. Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering is required. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience related to Electric Operations. Prior experience managing projects from the standpoint of coordinating involved parties, setting and monitoring deliverables, and evaluating success. Must possess experience presenting projects in a clear and concise way to a variety of audiences. Should be comfortable using PowerPoint. Familiarity with electric distribution in both a network and non-network system is required. Must have the ability to engineer, schedule and control small to moderately complex projects and assignments. Must possess a demonstrated interest in process change, applying technology to improve the way we work. Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and administrative skills with a strong attention to detail. Must possess a high energy level, be flexible, and be able to demonstrate the ability to handle multiple assignments. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.


Specific experience either in a field position or an engineering position preferred. Familiarity with lean management and six sigma preferred, but not required.


Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.

Responsibilities: Adheres to the Company’s safety, health and environmental programs. Ensures that safe practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations. Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and other Company procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (“EH&S”), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline, and security. Identify, plan, develop, manage and implement programs in Electric Operations to improve process flow, reduce cost, reduce operation risk, and enhance customer service and reliability. Coordinate cooperative projects and communicate effectively with cross functional departments mainly within Electric Operations and academic organizations. Reviews and prepares drawings, specifications, proposals and procedures for various Electric Operations projects. Conducts studies including cost-benefit analysis of alternatives and presents findings. Assist Engineers, Senior Analyst, Senior Engineer to project manage new program from development to implementation. Coordinates with Information Resources and R&D to specify and develop computer applications necessary to improve engineering analysis, operations performance and 3G design. Ability to integrate work into broad Company goals and objectives. Keep abreast of the latest industry developments and practices, appraises technological developments and investigates the feasibility of employing new techniques and processes in our business.

The candidate should be detail oriented, able to work under pressure and handle multiple concurrent assignments. Must be computer literate (e.g. good knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Windows operating system). Responsibilities: The Associate Engineer –A assists engineers, Senior engineers, technical specialists, or other Distribution Engineering staff in the performance of their tasks as necessary. Reviews and prepares drawings, specifications, proposals and procedures for various Distribution Engineering projects. Conducts engineering studies including cost/benefit analysis of alternatives and makes presentations on his/her findings. Provides guidance to Electric Operations personnel regarding operational and maintenance problems. Assists Electric Operations Regional staff during various emergencies in assessing and analyzing the impact of the emergency. Visits various Electric Operations’ locations to monitor and improve specific applications and procedures. Maintains state-of-the-art technical expertise and cognizance in assigned discipline area through contact and interaction with leading experts in the technical community.

Monitor Federal, State and City proceedings related to Solar PV.
