Job Requirements: Con Edison is looking to hire PART TIME Customer Service Representatives, who are bilingual, to join its exciting Customer Service group. This position offers opportunity for professional growth and advancement. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalency. You must be able to respond to direction and work as a member of a team, using PC-based information systems in order to retrieve information to analyze customer accounts. In addition, you must have the ability to interact with customers over the phone, as well as other avenues of contact, in a responsive, productive, and professional manner. You will need to provide outstanding service in every customer encounter and be an effective communicator.
The individuals we seek must be proficient in Spanish, Russian, Korean, Cantonese, or Mandarin. Bilingual candidates must pass a language performance test.
Physical Requirements: This position requires selected applicants to be seated at a computer terminal for the majority of the workday. These applicants will be required to answer phones and use a computer for prolonged periods of time, which will require excellent manual dexterity and extensive use of hands.
