Job Requirements: The candidates for this position must have a minimum of three year's experience with power plant or equivalent components (boilers, turbines, pumps, motors, piping systems, etc.). The candidates must have the ability to install, repair, and align equipment, as well as the ability to read schematic drawings and engineering prints. Candidates must possess skills in mechanical and rotating machinery equipment, and demonstrate knowledge of and experience in using electrical instrumentation and measuring devices necessary to complete tasks assigned. Additional skills such as welding (GTAW, TIG, SMAW) and machinist are a plus. CDL preferred.

Must be able to work extended hours as needed.

Job Requirements: Successful candidates for this position must be interested in qualifying as Mechanic A's. Must have welding knowledge in API1104 OR B31.1 welding code or have attended classes in a certified welding school. Must be able to complete and achieve welding qualification in down-hand API1104 and B31.1 welding codes. Must possess burning license and fireguard certification. Must maintain all license certifications. Upon successful completion of welding school, the candidate must be able to fabricate piping from layouts, blueprints and mechanical drawings. Must be able to interpret welding specifications, standards and procedures and work unsupervised to complete assignments. Must be able to perform welding tasks and various mechanical duties on live steam, gas and electric facilities. Must be willing to further welding skills as the need for such welding specifications is required by the department.

Job Requirements: The nature of this job requires an individual to have four years’ experience as a machinist and includes knowledge and skill in the setup, programming and operation of lathes, milling machines and horizontal and vertical boring mills; the ability to program and operate CNC machines; experience with Mazatrol and MasterCam programming (preferred); experience working with aligning pipe, tube cutting and beveling equipment in the field. Candidate must have experience reading blueprints, sketches, and/or electrical schematics. Knowledge and skill are required in: use of hand and power tools; troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical equipment; safe work practices; environmental policies and procedures, and the ability to perform standard maintenance functions. Must be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills. Candidate selected for position must be able to work varied shifts and overtime and work at various field locations, as needed.

Job Requirements: This position requires a two-year technical degree, preferably in Civil Technology or related disciplines, or equivalent work experience. Successful candidate will have the ability to read and interpret maps and drawings and be capable of operating various survey instruments (total stations, level, M-scopes, etc.). Candidate should also have competency in the use of Auto-Cad in order to generate various types of drawings.

Survey Technicians assist Surveyors with mathematical computations and field sketches. Applicant selected for this position must have strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with other departments, including various city and state agencies relative to land records, easement grants, and topographical data. Applicant must have the ability to learn advanced survey and mapping software.

This job requires extensive walking, standing, and stair/ladder climbing. Must be able to push, pull, and lift equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
