Qualifications: Auditing seeks an industrious and dedicated individual who consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and high level of integrity to join the Operations/EH&S/Construction section of Auditing. The candidate must be able to understand business processes, organizational/company policies and procedures and be able to interpret them while conducting field audits. Strong operations/EH&S/Construction experience is desired. Working knowledge of business units is strongly preferred, including reading schematics, drawings and flow diagrams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational and project management skills in order to successfully handle multiple assignments and changing priorities while achieving deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of union and management employees in the Company is required. The Senior Auditor must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidate must possess an Undergraduate Degree, preferably in Science, Engineering or Business Administration and have 3-5 years equivalent work experience in utility operations. Previous auditing experience is desirable and technical certification a plus.

The successful candidate must possess strong organizational skills, be able to work independently as well as on a team, demonstrate strong attention to detail, manage time effectively and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc). A writing sample may be requested. Experience with Business Intelligence tools and audit analysis tools is desirable. Rotational assignments within other Auditing Sections may be required. The candidate will be expected to comply with all organizational and professional ethical standards and ensure that, if applicable, any audit performed complies with the IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards). The candidate will maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment both in character and actions.




Responsibilities: In line with Auditingís mission, work within the Operations Section (Operations/EH&S and/or Construction) to provide customer-focused value added Operations Auditing and Advisory services that are objectively conducted with a high level of professional and ethical standards. These audits will review electric, gas, steam, construction and other operations to assess efficiency, cost management and adherence to specifications, policies, regulations, contracts, procedures, systems and programs. Rotational assignments within other Auditing Sections may be required. Comply with all organizational and professional ethical standards and ensure that, if applicable, any audit performed complies with the IIA International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards). The candidate will maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment both in character and actions.

The candidate must possess a valid driverís license, be able to travel to all Company and subsidiary work locations and work in all weather conditions. May be asked to perform other related assignments.

Position may require extensive walking, standing, and climbing. Off hour shifts occasionally required.

Qualifications: Construction Management is looking for a dedicated professional who is highly motivated, self-reliant, resourceful, and articulate to join the Special Projects group. the successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills exercise good judgment and render sound business and technical decisions. Candidate must be detail oriented, and flexible to handle multiple assignments. To succeed in this position, the selected candidate must demonstrate a positive work ethic in support of the Company's Corporate Values and Mission. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with contractors, public officials and external customers including community board representatives, as well as, internal Company organizations.

A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related technical field such as (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) and 3 years work experience in the Construction Management field or a HS Diploma/ GED and 6 years work experience in the Construction Management field is required. Candidate must possess knowledge of specifications associated with the installation of subsurface electrical structures, procedures applicable to street construction operations, including a understanding of the Trenching Manual and the Contract Administration Manual. Candidate must possess knowledge of preparing construction estimates, budgets, and cost studies. Must have knowledge of the Construction Key Performance Indicators (KPIís). Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Company computer systems is required. Candidate should have an understanding of Oracle.

Experience in street construction operations involving the installation of subsurface structures and conduit systems is preferred. Knowledge of Project One and the Work Management System is preferred. Experience with applications related to Construction Management such as Layout Tracking (LOT), Compass, Summons and the POCR system is preferred.



Responsibilities: The Senior Specialist ensures that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with company policy and governmental regulations. Reviews work schedules and estimates of all contractor work for coordinating maintenance activities between company and contractor forces. Monitors field activities associated with construction maintenance of the electric/gas distribution systems and associated equipment. Updates all project records related to progress and cost of field work with emphasis on unit price reviews at the planning level. Maintains inter and intra departmental communication to ensure timely completion of projects. Communicate cost and project concerns to internal and external customers. Ensures compliance with the Corporate Contractor Oversight System. Ensures all documentation for mileage, time reporting including overtime/comp time and all other personnel records and project files for the department are properly maintained in accordance with company policy. Provides a vision and leadership to employees and communicates the vision. Openly communicates the importance of working the plan, safety, environmental awareness and the importance of proving excellent customer service. Reviews procedures and specifications with employees for compliance, accuracy, and employee development. This position requires the following activities: field construction oversight, administration, planning, scheduling, estimating, contractor procurement and budgeting. Strives to enhance the companyís image by improving productivity and the work performance of the field forces. Promotes a positive public, customer, governmental, and employee relations by ensuring implementation and administration of corporate policies, programs, and operating procedures. Comply with the Companyís Equal Employment policy. Coordinates contractor crews and ensures coverage of company personnel for all emergency responses within assigned borough on a 24 hour basis.

Position requires a valid driverís license. Must be able to travel to various work locations within the company service area, and use of personal vehicle. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and off hours. Must be able to respond to emergencies and medically approved to wear a half face respirator. Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold climates and walk, climb, and stand for extended periods of time.
