  • Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Section Manager of the Contract Administration Group (CAG), the Associate Analyst is responsible for the preparation, tracking and reporting of work management and other information/information systems used to support the CAG. Prepares reports to track compliance, expenditures and productivity. Assists with the monitoring of budgets and work plans. Ensures timely and accurate processing of invoices and accruals. Tracks costs of major projects and programs.Ensures implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Responsible for preparation and updating of excused time reports for both Union and Management personnel. Identifies and resolves discrepancies with excused time list, inspector time reporting, and contractor inspector payments; discusses issues with Section Manager as required.Participates in the research and analysis of variances in maintenance and capital spending on contract work, using the Work Management System, Oracle, and other support systems.Performs general administrative duties as required of the office such as: maintain inventory/ordering supplies, conference room reservation/confirmation, Iron Mountain responsibilities. Responsible for the preparing confidential letters, notifications and departmental reports and updates as required. Oversees the preparation, validation, quality and input of time and expense data. Coordinates the distribution, control and security of expense checks. Acts as liaison between Human Resources, Payroll, Occupational Health and other departments as needed on time and attendance issues. Participates in teams to develop/modify work management and other systems/processes to help control labor costs and ensure productivity, as needed.Verifies and reallocates P-Card purchases as well runs monthly reports for these expenditures.Maintains required records and reports in a manner suitable for inspection by Company auditors and governing agencies in support of PSC requirements. Performs other related tasks and assignments as required.

    Engineer:

Employee will participate in the support of advanced EMS application tools (e.g. Simulator, Security Management, Contingency Analysis, and State Estimator) and develop, review, and revise operating instructions and procedures applicable to all cyber assets and EMS technology work performed in support of the Control Center.


    Under the guidance of the Principal Engineer, configures and maintains power engineering application software (i.e. TSM, State Estimator, Contingency Analysis, GDC) used in Control Center Operations. Under the guidance of the Principal Engineer, participate in the configuration and maintenance of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) database and displays. Assists field personnel in the check out and repair of remote SCADA monitoring, control and metering equipment. Under the guidance of the Principal Engineer, assists in the development of appropriate plans for the coordinated sharing of data based on the requirements of Engineering, Information Resources, other corporate departments, systems and external stakeholders. Actively maintains and monitors compliance to NERC Reliability, CIP and other Cyber Security Standards.     Provides support for the periodic review of performance of energy management system applications. Assists in the analysis and preparation of recommendations for economically justifiable enhancements to maintain and improve system operation effectiveness. Assists in maintenance of the Control Center’s computer equipment supporting the electric system. Assists in the development and maintenance of instructions and procedures related to computers and/or applications utilized by Control Center personnel. Supports the regular monitoring and reconciliation of revenue metering, creating monthly substation output reports, providing systems performance data and other required reports.   • Responsibilities: Under general supervision of the Chief Distribution Engineer of Distribution Engineering, performs electrical engineering work in the distribution planning discipline requiring considerable individual judgment. The work involves detailed system planning and analysis for the overall distribution system with emphasis on short and long term forecasting, system contingency modeling, summer system operating modeling, annual under-frequency load shedding programs, and determining capital budget requirements.



    Engineer:

    Provides support to Senior and Principal Engineers with the annual preparation of the electric delivery system five-year capital infrastructure requirements for the Engineering and Electric Operations capital budgets. With some general guidance conceptually designs and supports the overhead distribution capital budget improvement projects to (LTS) Line Technical Services for estimation and design, and prepares all of the authorization funding requests, cost/benefit analyses and project justifications for these projects. Provides support and attends Engineering/Operations capital project review meetings and attends Division Engineer/Engineering interface meetings. Provides support and attends semi-annual meetings with the Customer Service New Construction Groups. With some general guidance, provides Distribution load flow program utilization and support, including area studies, modeling and analysis, circuit voltage profiles and contingency switching analysis, loss studies, distribution circuit configurations, and system administration on an as needed basis. With some general guidance, provide Operations support functions, including circuit fuse coordination studies, motor start calculations, capacitor and voltage regulator location and setting recommendations, substation transformer fixed tap and LTC settings, New Business responses, and Division Engineer assistance in investigating circuit area voltage problems/complaints. Collects summer peak periods, contingencies and storms, Attends annual meetings with Distribution Communications Center and Electric Operations to review Distribution Summer Operating study which includes revised circuit configurations, forecasted peak loadings and recommended contingency plans. With some general guidance, meets with customers, new and existing, to address service capacity and redundancy, special customer needs and concerns.


    Sr. Engineer:


    With limited supervision, assists and performs load forecasting, system planning and expansion analysis, and the preparation of the annual 2 & 5-Year Distribution Forecast report, the annual NPCC underfrequency load shedding program. Assists other Senior and Principal Engineers in performing analysis and preparation of alternative DG/DSM economic evaluation/operational planning studies. Assists other Senior and Principal Engineers with the annual preparation of the electric delivery system five-year capital infrastructure requirements for the Engineering and Electric Operations capital budgets.   • Responsibilities:

    The qualified candidate will ensure the knowledge and implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensures full compliance to all external regulatory related activities as they apply to the electric distribution system, including timely and accurate event reporting.


    Provides quality assurance by: Actively assessing the department's compliance to specifications, procedures, rules and regulations, identifying deficiencies and their root causes; and Correcting deficiencies for overall improvement to avoid errors, enhance productivity, improve electric service reliability and ensure compliance.     Operating Supervisor (1H) - On a rotating shift basis and under the general supervision of the Section Manager, Distribution Switching Coordinator and Trainer the Operating Supervisor (OS) has complete operating authority and jurisdiction over the electric distribution system with responsibility for its day-to-day operation including oversight and guidance of field personnel when switching, performing system repairs, or installing and removing electric distribution equipment. The OS must develop proficiency in the principles of operating an electric power system with emphasis placed on the operation and understanding of distribution equipment.


    Seek guidance, as necessary, to ensure response to emergencies in a timely manner commensurate with current corporate guidance and communicates that response to proper company personnel. Manages field forces, supervisory and weekly, to ensure that emergency work is progressing by managing and facilitating resources necessary to complete the job. Ensures that notifications are prepared and distributed as per OI-2N-DCC for conditions such as accidents, outage analysis, operating errors or deficiencies, system maintenance requirements, as well as on day-to-day activities.     Conducts thorough internal investigations, critically evaluates departmental performance and prepares detailed reports of findings as assigned. These investigations could require interviews with departmental and inter-departmental personnel, evaluations of performance based on OI guidance and corporate guidance at the time. Serves on the DCC Policy Committee. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: soliciting recommendations and best practices from peers, drafting new Operating Instructions and/or revising existing Operating Instructions. OGS must justify requirements established in Operating Instruction to departmental Section Manager prior to approval.


    Provides accurate and timely mapping updates and manages the update process with the Mapping Department, to include, but not limited to: as-built changes communicated by field forces, mapping inaccuracies found during operations and new additions to the distribution system. OGS is required to follow-up on their own identified mapping feedback and departmental OSs.


    Reviews and approves department weekly employee timesheets. Timesheets must be reviewed daily for accuracy according to roll call and departmental guidelines. OGS is required to approve timesheets reviewed by departmental OSs. Represents DCC in meetings with various departments, including: Electric, Substation and Transmission Operations and Distribution Engineering. The OGS must arrive at meetings promptly and be prepared to discuss relevant issues involving the DCC, referencing Operating Instructions, prior meeting minutes or tasks assigned the department. The OGS must then provide feedback and updates to the DCC Section Manager in a timely fashion.

  • Vendor management experience including ongoing vendor interaction, review of program utilization, oversight of performance guarantees and program effectiveness.



     




  • Responsibilities: Under the general guidance of the Occupational Health Manager or Section Manager, is responsible for administering the company’s Occupational Health Programs. Provide oversight of the company’s contractor physician for all Occupational Medical Services. Oversee post injury/illness intervention, follow-up and return to work processes for all affected employees. Coordinate with the company’s vendor Sedgwick and Law department on Workers’ Compensation related matters. Administers the Company’s Drug and Alcohol programs. Develop corporate wellness strategy, policies and programs to address employee needs.

Reviews Worker’s Compensation claims with Law, EH&S and Sedgwick (3rd party Administrator for Worker’s Compensation Program). Provides appropriate information and guidance as needed by Sedgwick to manage worker’s compensation claims.Reconciles Occupational Health related invoice via company software (i.e. medical exams, fit and drug testing, etc.) Consults with operating organizations and Safety Department in relation to restricted/light duty programs. Provides advice and counsel on all Occupational Medical requirements with appropriate organizations.Supports the Company’s Drug and Alcohol programs. Provides oversight to the company’s vendor for employee Drug and alcohol testing in conformance with 49 cfr 392 (CDL) and 49 cfr 199 (PHMSAA) including the role of the Department Employee Representative. Acquires and maintains knowledge of local and community resources and outreach programs for the implementation of wellness programs. Partners with Benefits, including insurance carriers, Employee Assistance Program and Environmental Health and Safety to plan, promote and deliver wellness initiatives.Coordinates with Public Affairs to develop written and video communications to promote wellness programs. Performs other related tasks and assignments as required.
