Qualifications: Supply Chain Stores Operations seeks to hire a talented individual to join their team as Field Operations Planner who would be responsible for overseeing the functional activities within Stores Operations which include Regional Stores and or Astoria Stores. A Bachelor Degree and 3 years customer service, operational, and or logistics experience is required or an Associate’s Degree and 4 years customer service, operational, and or logistics experience or a High School Diploma and 5 years customer service, operational and or logistics experience. A Master’s Degree and 2 years customer service, operational and or logistics experience preferred. Work experience in a process improvement capacity and a demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and render sound business decisions is required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Office products are required.



Knowledge of storeroom operations and various equipment and materials used by operating organizations preferred. Familiarity with storeroom operations and with various stores computer systems such as DEMS, Mainsaver, CARS, Oracle EBS, EMIS etc. preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.

Responsibilities: The Field Operations Planner will effectively coordinate and advise the activities within Stores, including Environmental Health and Safety (EH & S) compliance and achieve an excellent level of service in the support of the Company’s material needs. Provide quality control and analysis to ensure that all activities comply with Stores objectives of providing excellent service. Partner with operating organizations to identify and implement process improvements and cost saving measures. Provide project support, schedule activities and serves as a back up to Operating Supervisors. Benchmark operations across groups and integrate best practices to develop improvement strategies and process reviews. Develop, compile and evaluate section and individual employee performance measures and standards to ensure achievement of departmental goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Produce and maintain all performance statistics for the department. Report on them regularly and develop programs to address issues raised in the analysis. Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment associated with the stores operation such as forklifts, storage racks, wrapping machines, strappers etc. Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary guidelines and maintains optimum efficiency in each operation. Review the Stores portion of the information technology for reporting and analysis purposes, including various Stores computer systems such as WM (Warehouse Management System), DEMS, Mainsaver, CARS (Cable and Reels System) and ADAMS (Automatic Data Acquisition for Meter Shops), Oracle EBS, EMIS etc. Enforce security measures for Stores. Assume emergency response roles in accordance with coastal storm plan and material management processes. Respond to storms and other emergencies, staff staging areas as required. Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.


Physical Requirements: Must Possess a valid driver’s license. Able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed. Able to work outdoors in all conditions. Able to perform physical activates including lifting, climbing, walking and pushing. Able and willing to provide 24-hour off shift response in emergency situations.
