The analyst/senior analyst will be responsible for presenting and reporting information about the AMI Project to various Company parties throughout the duration of the project. The analyst/senior analyst will support AMI by tracking key business financial and operational analytics for internal and external reporting purposes. • The analyst must have a minimum of 5 years, or a senior analyst must have a minimum of 8 years, cost management, general accounting, planning and administration and budgeting experience as required, including a concentration in utility cost estimating. Intensive experience in coordinating cost estimates with Purchasing, Construction, Engineering and Legal organizations is required. The level of the analyst/senior analyst will depend on the level of experience conveyed during the interviewing process. Must have knowledge of contract and procurement management, budget forecasting, cash flow analyses and cost management. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, technology or related field is required. • Must have experience with Oracle’s Business Intelligence Application, Oracle EBS Finance and Supply Chain System, and be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite. Must have familiarity with purchasing and supply chain processes and contract management – processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders and contract administration; Must have working knowledge of CWEs, cost management and business finance structure



Tableau and WMS/Logica system applications preferred.

Major Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Forecast, track and report key project financial analytics regarding the AMI Project to internal and external stakeholders. • Develop, monitor, and report key metrics and identify discrepancies and resolution of exceptions. • Develop and update the CWE’s throughout the project lifecycle. • Review data analytics and provide updates to key business organizations. • Perform all work and analysis associated to Cost Management’s budget forecast, rate cases, appropriations, CWE, Business Intelligence, and forecasting project spend and tracking actual spend. • Perform all work and analysis associated to Procurement Management: Oracle procurement requisitioning of services/material associated to the project and updating cash flows. • Present details at CWE meetings on financial spend. • Ensure that the financial payments made are in accordance with AMI contracts, as well as updating cash flows, managing the BPA and PO’s. • Interact with key business organizations to report necessary AMI Project information to support business decisions. • Develop and monitor project analytics reports for project monitoring and exception monitoring. • Perform data analytics in support of day-to-day operating requirements of key business areas. • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Qualifications: The AMI Implementation Team requires a Project Specialist to join this new organization. The individual must be self-motivated, resourceful and articulate. A Bachelor’s degree and six to eight years of relevant business or technical experience required. Experience in Gas Distribution Services is preferred. Knowledge of the gas system as well as gas meter replacement experience is required. Candidate Operator Qualified in Gas Distribution Services preferred. Project Management experience including working on large multi-million dollar construction programs and/or projects is preferred. Demonstrated experience in project management and schedules, cost management and strong technical writing are required. Experience with the application or design of standards and specifications is required. Experience with the procurement of equipment and contractor resources is preferred. Knowledge of specifications, drawings, contract documents, prints and diagrams associated with these projects is preferred. Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience are required. Knowledge of operations and maintenance of electric or gas distribution or transmission equipment is required. Knowledge of Con Edison’s contract administration and procurement process detailed in the Contract Administration Manual is preferred. Supervisory or managerial experience with field installation of electric metering, gas metering or overhead or underground distribution equipment installation preferred. Individual must have a proven track record of relationship building skills and be able to successfully lead multi-discipline meetings. Must be well-organized, detail oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments, and able to meet deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to exercise independent judgment and have excellent presentation skills. Exposure to the public in forums such as town meetings is preferred. The successful candidate must have excellent presentation skills. Familiarity with Microsoft windows applications, including Microsoft Project is required.




Responsibilities: The AMI Deployment Project Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project is implemented in accordance with applicable contract documents and Company standards. As part of the AMI project, more than 232,000 gas meters must be replaced, including tin-case meters and remediation meters. This position is the direct oversight of the Gas Meter Replacement Contractor. Gas meters will be replaced in Westchester, Manhattan, Bronx and Queens. Act as a subject matter expert to contractor supervisors and mechanics on meter replacement work, including thorough knowledge of relevant specifications. Actively communicate and reinforce compliance with same. Responsible for contractor oversight and administration, utilizing the Contractor Oversight System, organizing regularly scheduled meetings with the Contractor workforce, and the distribution and communication of Action Line items, as required. Required to be available to respond to and manage emergency situations as needed. Perform other related tasks and assignments as required. The Project Specialist shall be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of all records within the project scope, and shall ensure that all records, including reference materials, are kept current and available. The Project Specialist is responsible for budget preparation and compliance, and must ensure that costs are minimized through savings in time, materials, and proper work procedures within the course of the projects. The Project Manager shall monitor the schedule throughout the project to ensure that established milestones are met throughout the project. The successful candidate shall be responsible for ensuring seamless implementation of the various phases of the project by ensuring that permits, equipment, resources, outages and licenses are obtained in a timely manner to support the necessary design, construction and commissioning activities. Additionally, the selected candidate will act as a liaison for all regulatory and public officials during project implementation, addressing public and community concerns associated with the project. Project Specialist will also be cross-trained to be able to assist with the oversight of the other Meter Installation Vendor for electric meter replacements, gas module replacements, gas corrosion inspections and leak surveys


Physical Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to travel to various work locations within the five boroughs and Westchester County. The position will report out of the Gas Meter Replacement Contractor’s warehouse and/or field locations, or nearby Con Edison locations.

For the System Analyst: Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer or a related discipline with at least 2 years of demonstrated work experience in Information Technology, preferably cyber security, or an Associate’s degree and technical certification with at least 4 years of demonstrated work experience in Information Technology, preferably cyber security. For the Sr. System Analyst: Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline with an Information Technology focus with at least 3 years of demonstrated work experience in a related Information Technology field or an Associate’s degree and relevant technical certification with at least 5 years of demonstrated work experience in a related Information Technology field. Successful candidates should have excellent analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills, be detail oriented and be able to work independently, multitasking as needed to address multiple assignments and deadlines. The ability to interact with all levels of management is essential for this position. The candidate will need to have the ability to effectively interact with customers, support staff, outside vendors and various levels of management, strong technical skills across cyber security technologies and experience working with information security frameworks. Scripting skills, knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems, malware detection systems, content monitoring and data protection systems and Security Event Management to correlate various sources of security alerts is also required. This role also requires 24/7 availability and to be participate in off-hour emergency response activities as required. All employees must be able to participate in the Company’s emergency management processes and storm plans. Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability and willingness to travel within the CECONY service territory as required Candidate should be flexible and willing to work off hours as required to install product upgrades, support production problems or respond to corporate emergencies and may need to report to other offices within the service territory.



Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Business Administration is a plus. Technical certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CIPP, etc.) are preferred. Knowledge of the following is preferred: Basic Windows, Linux, and Unix system administration, TCP/IP networking and understanding of traffic flows, and VMWare virtualization, Active Directory Security Policies, LDAP, MS Office. Intrusion detection/prevention systems, web application/database firewall systems and Splunk experience preferred. Must demonstrate ability to work in teams in a manner consistent with Company objectives.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare standards based documents for the installation of computing or communications components to support Con Edison’s information and communications network infrastructure. 2. Prepare standards-based, detailed bid specifications for the installation of computing and communications related network equipment to support Con Edison’s information network infrastructure. Assist with the technical evaluations of contractor proposals, software, or hardware. 3. Lead technical evaluations of contractor proposals, software, or hardware. 4. Lead project to deploy various cybersecurity tools. Once deployed, become the technical lead in supporting the tools. 5. Provide guidance and consulting on cybersecurity technology and solutions. 6. Perform internal vulnerability assessments and ensure remediation of vulnerabilities for business process area infrastructure and web applications. 7. Support incident response activities. Willing to be flexible and take on technically challenging and complex assignments when requested to do so. 8. Support as a member, the Control Center Automation and Technologies Team (CCATT) through forensics analysis of systems, malware, or network. 9. Serve as project manager for small-scale vendor installation of computing and communication networks. 10. Monitor cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities and provide support as necessary to incident response team. 11.
