Qualifications: Customer Operations’ Field Operations department is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join its management team as a Senior Specialist in the Revenue Protection section. A Bachelor's degree and 3 years of work experience, or an Associate's degree and 4 years of work related experience, or a High School Diploma and 5 years of work related experience is required. Candidate must have 5+ years’ experience in customer service. Candidate must possess knowledge of all facets of Customer Operations including, but not limited to, Customer Accounting, Gas & Electric Service Rates, Customer Relations, Investigations (Complaint and Billing), Auditing, and Employee Relations. Prior supervisory experience is essential. Candidate must be an experienced team player who demonstrates a high regard for personal responsibility, can work with little or no supervision, and exhibits a deep commitment to excellence and a keen attention to detail. Candidate must possess the ability to make timely and sound decisions and takes initiative in attaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate must possess strong computer, technical, and analytical skills, including demonstrable expertise in Microsoft Excel and Access. Candidate must have excellent, oral, and written communication skills. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive and travel as necessary.



Preferred qualifications for the ideal candidate include: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of HEFPA and Customer Service Procedures. Experience collecting, organizing, and interpreting data. Experience with data analytics and/or statistics tools, such as Tableau, Google Analytics, SAS, SPSS, and/or Microsoft Power BI. Proficiency in ITRON, IRIS, and CSS.

Responsibilities: The Senior Specialist will ensure the implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs as well as ensuring that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company Policy and governmental regulations. The Senior Specialist will work closely with the Section Manager in administrative, technical, financial and/or operational performance and controls, quality review and employee development functions. The Senior Specialist will ensure accuracy of billing and metering information by reviewing work conducted by Revenue Protection and collaborating with various sections of the Specialized Activities department in Customer Operations. The Senior Specialist will analyze data to identify various trends associated with activities within Revenue Protection, and be responsible for improving efficiency and creating strategies to enhance theft detection, reduce loss of revenue, and protect the integrity of the electric and gas systems. The Senior Specialist will interface with DOT, DEA, DEP, and other outside agencies, firms, utility companies, other Company departments, customers, and senior management to provide information, testify, and collaborate to reduce theft and recover monies. The Senior Specialist will also conduct and/or assist in appropriate operational and procedural audits, and provide support for rate case submittals. The individual will analyze activities to ensure the attainment of corporate and departmental goals and standards and that these activities are in compliance with all corporate and department policies and procedures as well as PSC rules and regulations. The Senior Specialist will manage relationships with vendors, develop RFPs, review invoices, and issue requisitions. The Senior Specialist will lead and participate on projects, and perform other tasks and responsibilities as required. Must be able respond to emergencies as needed on a 24x7 basis.


Physical Requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to travel as required.
