Qualifications: The Energy Efficiency & Demand Management (“EE&DM”) Department has an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional in its Commercial Demand Response team. The Commercial Demand Response team manages demand response programs to help improve electric service reliability while minimizing impacts to customer bills. Demand response is often called the Smart Grid in action since it utilizes dynamic customer actions to better manage the electric supply system. Our programs are at the cutting edge of the new electric utility business model.

Required Skillsets/Qualifications:


Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of two (2) years of work experience

  • Must have strong computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications

  • Comfortable to work on challenging assignments in a fast paced environment

  • Highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to work alone or in teams

  • Ability to make sound decisions through the use of traditional and creative solutions while measuring the risks and impacts of his/her actions

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills are essential



    Preferred Skillsets/Qualifications:

    Familiarity with, financial or economic modeling; knowledge and or work experience with competitive, market-driven, utility energy efficiency and demand side management initiatives Experience with: database management, demand and revenue forecasting, financial or economic modeling, PL/SQL

    All aspects of program operation, analysis and reporting.


    Operations include program design, enrollment processing, customer and vendor communication, data management and quality control, performance review and analysis.


    Assist with the management of budgets and processes


    Present summaries of program status and provide updates to senior management and other internal and external audiences


    Promote program growth by answering customer questions. Support the sales team by responding to any questions or data requests that may arise


    Responsible for varying administrative and analytical roles in support of the measuring, reporting, and implementation of comprehensive energy efficiency, demand response, and demand side management programs to meet the Company’s operations and business objectives and goals


    Coordinate information flow between the group and other departments


    Working with the Public Service Commission, NYISO, and other stakeholder organizations, to promote the interests of the Company


    Perform other related tasks and assignments as required



    Physical Requirements: Must have valid driver’s license

    Must be able and willing to travel within the Company’s service territory, as needed

    Qualifications: The Product and Service Development section of Energy Efficiency and Demand Management is seeking a dedicated professional for its management team to support, maintain, and implement the Demand Management Tracking System (DMTS) in support of the Energy Efficiency and Demand Management programs and goals. The Senior Specialist will assist in documenting business process requirements, business workflow, and enhancement requests to support all Energy Efficiency and Demand Management efforts that are tracked and managed within the DMTS. Primary responsibilities will focus on configuration and maintenance of the Energy Efficiency and Demand Management programs in the DMTS. The Senior Specialist will assist in developing test plans and executing test scripts. A major focus will be placed on data management and troubleshooting of DMTS user issues and data uploads from various Implementation Contractors. Responsibilities will also include working closely with key stakeholders and user groups including, but not limited to, Program Managers, Engineers, Business Developers/Account Executives and others to implement new processes and changes to existing and upcoming program implementations. The creation and maintenance of desk reference guides and procedural documentation will also be required to support the governance and maintenance of the various environments and program configurations of the DMTS.

    Required Skillsets/Qualifications:


    Bachelor’s Degree


    Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business and/or related field


    Minimum of three years of work experience


    Analytical, project management, and Salesforce project implementation experience


    Excellent oral and written communications skills


    Excellent time-management and organizational skills


    Three – four years of direct Salesforce administration and configuration experience


    Direct experience auditing, troubleshooting, and resolving data integrity/quality issues


    Demonstrated experience in documenting business process requirements, business workflow, and enhancements for purposes of managing and maintaining systems and processes


    Experience in developing test plans for software testing and executing test scripts (Functional, UAT, and Regression) Ability to interact with all levels of management and a diverse base of internal and external end users of an IT system

    Salesforce certifications, particularly ADM201


    Knowledge of and work experience with utility operations and demand side management initiatives

    Implement and maintain workflow rules, formulas, approval processes, process builder, action/process triggers, and custom objects in the Con Edison DMTS environment.


    Work with Program Managers, Engineers, Business Developers/Account Executives and other DMTS users to document business process requirements, business workflow, and enhancement requests to support existing Energy Efficiency and Demand Management programs and to implement new efforts in support of the Energy Efficiency and Demand Management portfolio.


    Organize and prioritize user change requests and enhancement needs based on the level of effort and importance.


    Develop test plans and execute test scripts for software testing on the DMTS.


    Assist with data management, reporting, mapping, and the import/export and ETL of large volumes of data.


    Perform auditing, troubleshooting, and help resolve data integrity/quality issues provided by internal DMTS users and from Implementation Contractors data uploads.


    Assist with the deployment of change sets to the DMTS and support implementation projects alongside our technology platform provider and contracted third party vendors.


    Perform system administrator functions including the development and scheduling of custom reports. Responsible to evaluate new tools and Salesforce updates in an effort to identify new opportunities for application optimization.


    Perform monitoring and maintenance activities in support of DMTS interfaces to external Con Edison production applications.


    Perform various project and team functions; assist in scheduling, assigning, and tracking tasks.


    The Senior Specialist will also be called upon to assist in corporate emergencies as required.


    Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

    Qualifications: The Delivery Channel Management section of Energy Efficiency and Demand Management is seeking a dedicated professional for its management team. The Senior Specialist on the Operations team will provide operational and planning support to the energy efficiency, demand management and demand response programs, including oversight of the Operations team workflow management process, coordination of projects and review project change requests to assess impact at project and program levels. In addition, the development of standards, tools and processes to effectively manage projects, resolve customer and program inquiries, and provide QA/QC for operations and program processes.

    The Senior Specialist will review program information to ensure content integrity, performs analysis on program and process exceptions to support and develop key business process change initiatives; develops and monitors project analytics reports for program exception monitoring and contract adherence; leads the Operations team processing and review of invoices per contract line item and deliverables per program.


     


     


    Preferred Skillsets/Qualifications:


    Bachelor’s Degree


    Minimum of three – five years of any combination of experience in utility energy efficiency, demand management or demand response programs


    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)


    Experience and or knowledge in data management and/or databases


    Excellent oral and written communication skills


    Excellent interpersonal skills


    Proven problem solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze and resolve process and customer service related issues


    Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build a consensus through collaboration with various stakeholders

    Track, prepare and report as required key project milestones and present to the department and New York State Public Service Commission.


    Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

    Degree in Business Administration, Operations/ Process Management, Economics, Engineering, System Administration/ Data Management, or related fields


    Experience in program planning and administration, project management

    Ability to learn new database systems such as Oracle EBS, Hyperion Planning, business intelligence, work management and CRM systems
