Qualifications: Information Resources seeks to hire a dedicated professional who is committed to exemplary customer service. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline. The candidate must also have 4-8 years of demonstrated work experience supporting the Hyperion suite of products (Hyperion Planning, HFM, FDM, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Financial Reports, EPMA). The successful candidate must possess excellent technical writing and oral communication skills. Experience writing formal documentation and requirements is required. Some experience preparing and conducting presentations is also desired. This individual must demonstrate the ability to complete multiple assignments with changing priorities while still meet deadlines. Must be able perform some supervisory functions in support of or absence of team leader. Must be able to learn new technologies, transfer knowledge to peers, and train subordinates. This individual must be able to actively contribute to the installation and support of the Hyperion suite of products. These products support the Company’s financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and consolidations.



Knowledge of Oracle/Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM) is preferred. Knowledge of finance architecture systems around Information Systems is desired; Involvement in full life cycle of project development, including requirements, design, development, testing, rollout, implementation and training; excellent ability to research, evaluate and recommend technical solutions; excellent planning, research, time management, and multi-tasking skills; the proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business and technical teams as well as vendors and consultants; ability to take directions and plan and execute independently or with minimal guidance. In addition, relational data base (SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2), SQL programming skills, strong data transformation experience (DTS/SSIS/ODI) ETL Extraction, Transforming and Loading, and Java/IIS Web Server skills are desired. Experience working in finance or accounting a strong plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required. ** Good knowledge of Microsoft .net technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities: The Candidate should be able to design, develop and maintain the applications using Oracle Enterprise Performance Management suite of products: Hyperion Planning, Financial Management, Essbase, Financial Data Quality Management, Hyperion Strategic Finance, Hyperion Workforce Planning, Oracle/Hyperion Data Relationship Management, Enterprise Performance Management Architect, Report and Analysis. Candidate will assist in the migration of application artifacts from development to test, and to production and disaster recovery environments; work closely with System Infrastructure and Database Administrator teams to configure system and troubleshoot performance issues. Selected candidate will also work with the Hyperion Planning business users, DBAs and Oracle to diagnose and solve application errors.



The candidate will work with users to prepare requirements analysis for existing or new systems; Develops functional scope and design documentation for enhancements of existing systems; Principal author in development of documentation for larger projects; Drafts test plans. The candidate will design application enhancements and small projects according to departmental standards and write programming specifications based on system design. The selected individual is expected to perform unit, integration and system testing, and set up user acceptance testing. Additional requirements include the ability to develop move strategies, prepare packages for production moves, and troubleshoot and resolve production problems. The candidate will be expected to work with vendors to support and maintain testing and production environments, performing and testing upgrades as necessary. The candidate may be required to coordinate the activities of employees, contractors, junior staff and other company organizations. Makes recommendations for improving application design and implementation in light of process changes or changes in the business or technology environment. Follows up on recommendations, developing tangible implementation proposals, and if approved, developing detailed plans. Captures scope, design, schedule, cost, and performance information in specified documentation formats. Recognizes when interactions with Technology Services personnel are required and ensures that issues are handled. Performs other related assignments, as required. Selected candidate is expected to provide on-call support 24X7. Ensures implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. The BSD Gas Support organization will partner with Gas Operations to lead the implementation of Gas Work and Asset Management (GWAM). GWAM is a transformative initiative to optimize planning and management of all types of work in an integrated IT platform. Gas Operations desires to achieve excellent customer service as well as efficient control and transparency into work flow, job status, costs and assets. The Systems Manager will work with the Department Manager and the business lead of the initiative to direct the GWAM implementation. The Systems Manager must have experience working on complex IT projects, be a strong leader; able to lead stakeholders and vendors to a successful outcome. The individual must be highly organized, motivated, and a good multi-tasker. The individual will manage and collaborate with multiple vendors and service providers, work with employees across IT and business areas, direct a dedicated project team, and engage with project sponsors. Responsibilities: The candidate will be managing an energetic development team responsible for establishing the foundation, alignment, solution design and deployment, solution testing, and rollout of the Gas Work and Asset Management (GWAM) System. This system will incrementally replace and consolidate existing gas work and asset management applications and facility data with the CGI Asset and Resource Management (ARM) software suite. The candidate will also be responsible for the integration of the ARM software suite with existing Con Edison systems and processes. The candidate will establish and build relationships with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for the overall design, build and development of the solution. The individual will be directly responsible for technical aspects of the solution in terms infrastructure setup, system configuration, developing custom objects, conversion programs and system interfaces. The individual will lead a team of IT developers and work closely with various delivery groups (vendor developers, BizTalk team and shared resources) to ensure that the system is built to the specifications. The candidate will work with the Department Manager to direct and coordinate development activities, manage expectations, and communicate progress at high levels of the organization as well as monitor all aspects of the project to ensure strategic business and IT’s project management, technology, functional, compliance, and cost management goals and KPIs are met. The individual will help to monitor policy and compliance surrounding application security, cyber security, personal identification information, disaster recovery, Sarbanes Oxley, Corporate Risk Management, EH&S and software license and maintenance contracts. The candidate will champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas throughout this project; be responsible for communicating with the business to identify emerging or changing needs and evaluate alternative solutions and scope change; develop strategies to stay on track; communicate strategy to the team; assign responsibilities to team members, review status reports, and address issues as appropriate; and manage the development, well-being, and success of the entire IT team working on GWAM.
