Qualifications: The selected candidate for this position must have a minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in the mechanical trades. This includes a working knowledge of gasoline operated hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment. Candidate must also have knowledge of shop equipment (i.e., lathe, steam cabinet, drill press, grinders, etc.). The candidate should have an understanding of 12 Volt DC as well as 120 Volt powered equipment. Candidate will be responsible to make safe use of all types of hand and power tools as well as troubleshoot and perform the repairs on capital tools. They must have the ability learn and adapt to repairing new types and models of equipment as well as assembling them. The candidate will be responsible for data entry into work management system to track asset inventory and repair history. Candidate must have a HS Diploma or GED. The candidate will interact with coworkers, supervision, internal customers and vendors.






Responsibilities:


Physical Requirements: The nature of this job requires extensive walking, standing, climbing, bending, and the ability to push/pull/lift equipment and materials up to 50 pounds. Must be capable of working on elevated platforms(loading docks) as well as stoop, bend, reach, stand kneel. The selected candidate must possess a valid driver's license.



Additional:

Candidate may be required to operate a forklift at times.
