Qualifications: Rate Engineering is seeking a highly motivated professional to join their team as a Business Associate. The successful candidate must: (a) have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field; (b) have one year of relevant experience, including at least six months of analytical work experience; (c) be detail-oriented and well organized and have excellent analytical skills; (d) be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks with short deadlines; (e) possess both excellent writing and excellent oral communication skills, decision-making and interpersonal skills; (f) have the ability to interact with other departments within the Company, various levels of management and regulatory agencies; and, (g) be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.



Candidates who apply for this position will be required to demonstrate their Excel and Word skills and analytic ability.

Responsibilities: The selected individual will be responsible for: (a) the development of monthly rate adjustments, which provide for recovery of supply costs, and other monthly adjustments applicable to the Company’s electric, gas and steam rates and services; (b) preparation and filing with regulatory agencies monthly statements and filing letters; (c) conducting supporting analyses of monthly adjusters and preparing bill impact analyses, as required; (d) preparing reconciliations of supply charge mechanisms and other cost recovery mechanisms; (e) preparing tariff language and filing letters to reflect required changes to the Company’s electric, gas and steam tariffs; (f) maintaining well organized files and accurate records, including maintaining back-up for computer files and safeguarding computer facilities, reports, and work papers for the Company’s monthly rate adjustments and other filings; (g) performing other related tasks and assignments as required to support the Rate Engineering Department; (h) interacting with other Company departments and other utilities in developing monthly rate adjustments, preparing tariff language, and making other filings; (i) data collection, evaluation, manipulation, review, summary, and presentation; and/or, (j) coding and utilizing SAS programs.


Physical Requirements: Candidates must: (a) have a valid driver’s license; (b) be willing to travel within and outside the Con Edison and O&R service territories as needed; and, (c) be able to participate in the Company’s emergency management processes and storm plans as required.

Qualifications: Central Support Operations is seeking to hire a highly motivated Engineer to join its team. The successful candidate must have a Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree. Must be familiar with SQL and or JavaScript, Tableau Software or similar analytics tools. He/She must have one year relevant work experience (including Co-Op or internship), strong oral and written communication skills, and strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite. The Technical Associate must be well organized, detail oriented and demonstrates flexibility to handle multiple assignments.




Responsibilities: The Technical Associate will ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations. Commitment to the Way We Work Principles, and adherence to the Company’s Standards of Business Conduct and other Company procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (“EH&S”), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline, and security. The Technical Associate will develop reports, workbooks and dashboards using Tableau desktop and post to Tableau Server and participate in requirements collection, analysis, definition, and document activities. He/she will assist in defining and prioritizing content to be included in the Enterprise Data Warehouse and design BI solution to provide seamless integration between Tableau and various databases. Responsibilities also include provide Technical Support Dashboards on the High Availability Servers, participate in Tableau Dashboard and Tableau Server testing, deployment and cutover, and perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Qualifications: Information Technology is looking for a dynamic individual to join the Business Systems Delivery team. The candidate must demonstrate a strong desire to learn new technologies and infrastructure/software support best practices. The candidate must possess the skills and ability to learn quickly, assimilate new concepts and think analytically. A Bachelor’s degree is required; preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering along with one (1) year of IT related experience (includes internships and co-op). The candidate must be willing to augment their education with courses beyond their undergraduate degree and/or certifications in software development tools and technologies. The successful candidate will be a team player who understands the critical role of Business Systems Delivery in the success of the department, Electric Operations and the company. They must also have a strong customer focus and possess excellent technical, project management, listening, documenting, and communication skills. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be required to interface with DBAs, developers, systems managers, Business Systems Delivery personnel and business users throughout the company.



The candidate is expected to be a team player, and will receive formal training as well as on-the-job training, initially working under a team lead. The candidate will work on a BSD IT team and will interface with business users, team members, and vendor consultants. The candidate is expected to support the various technology components of the BSD solutions both vendor and internally developed software in the group as needed. Following are the technologies and methodologies used within the Business Systems Delivery: • Mobile Development • Analytics • Oracle, SQL Server PL/SQL, DB2 • SQL Server SSIS • Agile and Waterfall methodologies • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be a part of the Business Systems Delivery team that is responsible for maintaining and administering the various application that support Electric Operations. This includes support department goals with analysis of system problems and the formulation of system changes including the development of code, performing testing and updating documentation, as well as in-depth team work with the business users and the BSD development and technical teams. The candidate is required to: • Meet with users and makes recommendations for requirements analysis. • Write programming specifications with guidance, based on systems design for small to medium changes. • Make recommendations for improving application design and implementation in light of process changes or changes in business or technology environment. • Assist in the development and updating of scope, design, schedule, cost and performance information in specified documentation formats. • Write custom code and work with vendors where necessary. • Perform unit, integration and system testing and set up user acceptance testing for small to medium sized projects. • Troubleshoot production problems and assist others as required. The candidate will be responsible for all facets of maintaining and troubleshooting of the BSD systems, which involves support during off hours as needed.
