Responsibilities: The candidate will support Electric Operations systems. The candidate will work on new application development and maintaining existing systems. Responsibilities: The Department Manager’s responsibility is enterprise wide and includes supporting Con Edison in its pursuit of operational excellence. Qualifications: Con Edison is currently in the process of planning the deployment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), which will involve installing over 5 million electric and gas Smart Meters. This initiative comes at a time when New York State is seeking to rethink and improve its energy future. The Con Edison AMI smart meter initiative is integral to this very effort, and it is the most influential project in the company’s history. Information Technology’s AMI Implementation Technical Architecture Team is seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and innovative Senior Application Administrator to join its management team. The candidate must recognize the importance of Commitment to Excellence, be able to provide exemplary customer service, demonstrate a high energy level, be flexible, and be able to handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) mission critical enterprise applications are implemented on time, according to specification, and meet performance requirements. The candidate will support assigned core AMI applications such as the AMI Head End System (HES), Meter Data Management System (MDMS) or Meter Asset Management System (MAMS). This Senior Application Administrator is a senior position and should be able to function under minimal direction. While the primary function is to ensure the systems that this candidate is responsible for are up and running, this role will require planning and preparation for modifications to system requirements (including increase capacity and performance requirements), additional systems, and future upgrades. This role requires support throughout the implementation phases of the systems involved, and also the operations and maintenance of these systems after their ‘go-live.’ This position requires an Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years working in a related role. Also requires experience leading technology project teams and performing project management functions. Expertise in application administration and application architecture is preferred. The following are also required skills: • Thorough knowledge and experience with the configuration, implementation, and management of monitoring and performance management application technologies. • Thorough knowledge and experience with a broad range of information technologies including multi-tiered client-server computing environments, web technologies, networking technologies, operating systems, virtualization technologies, applications programming interfaces (and other integration techniques), relational database systems and software development, migration and batch scheduling tools. • Strong troubleshooting capability, including ‘hands-on’ experience and coordination of issue resolution (including assigning appropriate resources based on skillset, ability, etc.). • Ability to conduct and/or support infrastructure related discussions and offer guidance, feedback and evaluation support for various technical options that may be presented. • Considerable knowledge of IT development and support procedures, methods and practices. • Considerable knowledge of IT software development life cycles and implementation models. • Considerable knowledge of IT infrastructure requirements gathering techniques. • Considerable knowledge of IT Program Management techniques, such as work breakdown structures, scheduling, estimating, resource balancing and common Project Management tools. • Ability to recognize, analyze and provide solutions to difficult information technology problems. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Con ED IT and Business staff. • Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities: • Must have hands on experience with Linux and/or Windows in a large corporate environment. • Must have experience with Architecture planning, Documentation, and User administration. • Diagnose and resolve AMI application related performance issues, and present findings, resolutions, conclusions and other relevant detail to IT senior management. • Perform system configuration, testing and system performance reviews. • Work with application vendor resources to identify forthcoming application patches and hotfixes. • Ensure the integrity and availability of the AMI related infrastructure, and develop strategies to minimize system downtime. Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. • Work with customer/user groups to identify bug and enhancement requests to be delivered to vendor(s). • Work with other Con Ed IT resources from groups such as application vendors, application support. • Responsible for the up keep of both MAMS and MDMS instances running on both Windows and Linux Operating Systems • Develop and document associated application standards to be used as a basis for technology implementation and operational support • Identify areas for infrastructure improvements to enhance performance of applications and application servers • Ability to lead technical projects as required • Responsible for monitoring daily backups for both MAMS and MDMS applications • Oversee the daily tasks of the system analysts to ensure that operational practices are being adhered to • Responsible for the delegation of the systems specialist when necessary • Provide daily reports of the overnight batch processes which are critical to the integrity of the systems, to the systems manager • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required

Responsibilities: Support the Internet/Intranet infrastructure and all its peripheral applications including Firewalls, IIS Servers, and Citrix Netscalers. The support tasks include performing hardware/software upgrades, troubleshooting problems, monitoring system security, monitoring and optimizing system performance, and performing capacity planning. • Provide support for all corporate and enclave firewalls, application delivery controllers, DMZ and web application infrastructure, RADIUS, RSA, DNS • Provide 3rd level support to troubleshoot problems • Lead and manage projects of various priorities in a fast paced environment • Develop and execute disaster recovery and test plans for all supported systems • Prepare support documentation for the for 1st and 2nd level support groups • Interact with customers to solve issues and provide solutions as required • Provide off-hour support as operational needs dictate. The candidate must be available for rotating weekly on- call shifts (24 hour on-call support) with other members in the group • They will be required to document administration procedures for security, application development, and disaster recovery.

This individual must be able to actively contribute to the installation and support of the Hyperion suite of products. These products support the Company’s financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and consolidations.



Knowledge of Oracle/Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM) is preferred. Knowledge of finance architecture systems around Information Systems is desired; Involvement in full life cycle of project development, including requirements, design, development, testing, rollout, implementation and training; excellent ability to research, evaluate and recommend technical solutions; excellent planning, research, time management, and multi-tasking skills; the proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business and technical teams as well as vendors and consultants; ability to take directions and plan and execute independently or with minimal guidance. In addition, relational data base (SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2), SQL programming skills, strong data transformation experience (DTS/SSIS/ODI) ETL Extraction, Transforming and Loading, and Java/IIS Web Server skills are desired. Responsibilities: The Candidate should be able to design, develop and maintain the applications using Oracle Enterprise Performance Management suite of products: Hyperion Planning, Financial Management, Essbase, Financial Data Quality Management, Hyperion Strategic Finance, Hyperion Workforce Planning, Oracle/Hyperion Data Relationship Management, Enterprise Performance Management Architect, Report and Analysis. This new section is charged with enabling the Company to become an information-driven organization. This position is a Systems Manager level requiring expert knowledge in applying data mining techniques, performing data and statistical analysis, building high quality analytics and prediction platforms to support our business processes. The Data Science Manager is responsible for applying innovative analytical and research approaches to help Con Edison tackle complex and strategically important problems. S/he will become a hub for deep insight to support and enable the entire organization to continuously develop new capabilities and solutions along the data analytics maturity curve. The successful candidate must have a minimum eight years of relevant work experience in applied quantitative and qualitative analysis. Utility industry experience preferred. S/he must have a proven track record leading the development and delivery of creative, advanced, actionable analytic products and services. Must have experience managing consulting engagements to understand business problems/opportunities, translating needs into analytic projects and applying results. The applicant must have a command of analytic methods, tools and data wrangling techniques. Responsibilities: The Data Science Manager’s responsibility is enterprise wide and includes supporting Con Edison’s information governance framework, defining and guiding our advanced analytics capabilities and setting policy and compliance surrounding data access and security. S/he leads and manages the advanced analytics staff; provides guidance, training and motivation as necessary to develop staff; hires, evaluates and counsels staff; sets performance standards, reviews performance, provides feedback and recommends wage increases in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures. The Data Science Manger follows corporate disciplinary procedures when required. Responsibilities: The Candidate will be responsible for leading IT development projects supporting Con Edison’s Electric Operations Energy Services organization. The Candidate will be responsible for managing one or more development groups comprised of a combination of company employees, independent contractors and consultants, and System Integrator employees. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to mentor and develop junior team members. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of project planning, including project cost estimation and budgeting. The candidate will work directly with software vendor agents to support existing production systems, as well as managing licensing compliance. The candidate will collaborate with business representatives to understand functional requirements for software and reporting solutions to enable business processes, while adhering to IT corporate strategy. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be a part of the Business Systems Delivery team that is responsible for maintaining and administering the various application that support Electric Operations. This includes support department goals with analysis of system problems and the formulation of system changes including the development of code, performing testing and updating documentation, as well as in-depth team work with the business users and the BSD development and technical teams. The candidate is required to: • Meet with users and makes recommendations for requirements analysis. • Write programming specifications with guidance, based on systems design for small to medium changes. • Make recommendations for improving application design and implementation in light of process changes or changes in business or technology environment. • Assist in the development and updating of scope, design, schedule, cost and performance information in specified documentation formats. • Write custom code and work with vendors where necessary. • Perform unit, integration and system testing and set up user acceptance testing for small to medium sized projects. • Troubleshoot production problems and assist others as required. The candidate will be responsible for all facets of maintaining and troubleshooting of the BSD systems, which involves support during off hours as needed.
