Qualifications: Distributed Resource Integration (DRI) is seeking a Senior Specialist to join its team. This position will be required to understand customers’ industries and businesses, the issues involved and how Distributed Generation (DG) relates to their businesses. With the industry changes associated with Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) and the uptrend in customer installs of all types of Distributed Generation the position is needed to assess customer and Company impacts of various DG scenarios to support policy initiatives of the DG Ombudsman related to distribution system operations and both long and short term planning requirements. The Sr Specialist must bring the following talent and experience to the role: • Bachelor’s is degree required with 3 years of work experience managing complex projects •Degree in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Computer Science or Business is preferred • Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand and deal with technical issues as well as assess customer and Company economics associated with Distributed Generation. Project management experience is required. •Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills is required. •Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.




Responsibilities: Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. • Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations •Commit to the Way We Work Principles, and adhere to the Company’s Standards of Business Conduct and other Company procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (“EH&S”), Equal Employment Opportunity (“EEO”), discipline, and security. • Take special interest in our customers, both within the company and externally. • Commit to the ideals of developing a proactive, customer-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among customers and improve value for all our stakeholders •Assess customer and Company impacts of Distributed Generation in support of policy initiatives. • Understand the customers’ industries and businesses, the issues involved and how Distributed Generation relates to their businesses. • Assess customer and Company impacts of various DG scenarios to support policy initiatives of the DG Ombudsman related to distribution system operations and both long and short term planning requirements. • Write white papers and prepare presentations for upper management, coordinate efforts with diverse groups both internally and externally and exhibit knowledge of the utility business. •Perform economic analysis from both a corporate and customer point of view, demonstrate proactive problem solving, demonstrate the ability to deal effectively with stakeholders and Company upper management, and generate a high level of trust and confidence. • Monitor Federal, State and City proceedings related to Distributed Generation.


Physical Requirements: •Must have a valid driver’s license. •Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed. •Must be able and willing to occasionally travel to regulatory and industry meetings in state capital or other places.

Qualifications: The Product and Service Development section of Energy Efficiency and Demand Management is seeking a dedicated professional for its management team to support, maintain, and implement the Demand Management Tracking System (DMTS) in support of the Energy Efficiency and Demand Management programs and goals. The Senior Specialist will assist in documenting business process requirements, business workflow, and enhancement requests to support all Energy Efficiency and Demand Management efforts that are tracked and managed within the DMTS. Primary responsibilities will focus on configuration and maintenance of the Energy Efficiency and Demand Management programs in the DMTS. The Senior Specialist will assist in developing test plans and executing test scripts. A major focus will be placed on data management and troubleshooting of DMTS user issues and data uploads from various Implementation Contractors. Responsibilities will also include working closely with key stakeholders and user groups including, but not limited to, Program Managers, Engineers, Business Developers/Account Executives and others to implement new processes and changes to existing and upcoming program implementations. The creation and maintenance of desk reference guides and procedural documentation will also be required to support the governance and maintenance of the various environments and program configurations of the DMTS.

Required Skillsets/Qualifications:


Bachelor’s Degree


Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business and/or related field


Minimum of three years of work experience


Analytical, project management, and Salesforce project implementation experience


Excellent oral and written communications skills


Excellent time-management and organizational skills


Three – four years of direct Salesforce administration and configuration experience


Direct experience auditing, troubleshooting, and resolving data integrity/quality issues


Demonstrated experience in documenting business process requirements, business workflow, and enhancements for purposes of managing and maintaining systems and processes


Experience in developing test plans for software testing and executing test scripts (Functional, UAT, and Regression) Ability to interact with all levels of management and a diverse base of internal and external end users of an IT system


 


 


Preferred Skillsets/Qualifications:


Master’s Degree


Salesforce certifications, particularly ADM201


Knowledge of and work experience with utility operations and demand side management initiatives


Experience working in a regulated fast-paced corporate environment

Implement and maintain workflow rules, formulas, approval processes, process builder, action/process triggers, and custom objects in the Con Edison DMTS environment.

Organize and prioritize user change requests and enhancement needs based on the level of effort and importance.


Develop test plans and execute test scripts for software testing on the DMTS.


Assist with data management, reporting, mapping, and the import/export and ETL of large volumes of data.


Perform auditing, troubleshooting, and help resolve data integrity/quality issues provided by internal DMTS users and from Implementation Contractors data uploads.


Assist with the deployment of change sets to the DMTS and support implementation projects alongside our technology platform provider and contracted third party vendors.


Perform system administrator functions including the development and scheduling of custom reports. Responsible to evaluate new tools and Salesforce updates in an effort to identify new opportunities for application optimization.


Perform monitoring and maintenance activities in support of DMTS interfaces to external Con Edison production applications.


Perform various project and team functions; assist in scheduling, assigning, and tracking tasks.


The Senior Specialist will also be called upon to assist in corporate emergencies as required.


Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Qualifications: The Senior Specialist (Business Developer) on the Sales team will help achieve energy goals for energy efficiency and demand management programs by developing, pre-qualifying and closing sales leads for customers with a focus on the commercial and industrial sectors. The Senior Specialist will shorten sales cycles, cross sell and up sell products and services to increase sales efficiency and meet savings quota. The Senior Specialist is responsible for developing project financial analysis for all projects where rebates and/or incentives are applicable; conduct sales and other presentations and maintain database and prepare reports on sales activities. The Senior Specialist builds, maintains and creates new relationships with customers, market partners and other stakeholders; maintains a sales pipeline; keeps informed of industry trends and collaborates with program teams, building engineering, market research/analytics and marketing on Sales programs.

    Build, maintain and create new relationships with customers, market partners and other stakeholders.


    Work closely with the Company’s Market Research/Anayltics and Research and Development teams and other energy-related research organizations, such as EPRI, AGA, E-Source to understand new technologies, sales process and tools to support growth and achieve business goals and keep informed of industry trends,


    Liaison with New York Public Service Commission Outreach Marketing and Education Staff and represent the Company on various New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, New York Independent System Operator and other committees/interest groups pertaining to the sales of programs.
