A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Labor and Employment Law, Human Resources or related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Conduct investigations of employment discrimination complaints and allegations to include. 2. EEO fact finding interviews, assessing credibility, analysis of documentary evidence and comparative analysis to reach logical conclusion. 3. Prepare clear and comprehensive written reports of investigative findings 4. Counsel, and recommend solutions to internal and external complaints of discrimination, harassment, or other violations of the Company’s EEO related policies 5. Participate in conferences, mediations, and hearings with governmental agencies, or internal arbitration hearings, as required 6. Research and keep up-to-date on current and pending EEO/AA laws and regulations. 7. Use subject matter expertise to provide leadership, expert consultation and deliver targeted training and awareness presentations to address specific EEO or diversity and inclusion concerns. Includes topics such as EEO/diversity/inclusion awareness, sexual harassment, and EEO compliance. 8. Provide advice and counsel to Human Resources partners, and company employees on EEO related policies, procedures, and issues. 9. Lead/ manage key projects and initiatives to advance equity, diversity and inclusion. 10. Review policies, procedures and processes that may serve as barriers to workplace equity and inclusion 11. Provide recommendations to strengthen key equity and D&I deliverables across the workforce, workplace and marketplace to eliminate discrimination, harassment and retaliation 12. Engage with both management and union employees at all levels, representatives from government agencies, and other stakeholders in contact with the office. 13. Demonstrate discretion, managerial courage, tact and diplomacy in communicating difficult and sensitive messages. 14. Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.


Physical Requirements: • Must have a valid driver’s license. • Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed. • Must be able to participate in the Company’s emergency management processes and storm plans as required.

Title: Medical Technician L1-2

Qualifications: The Occupational Health department is seeking to hire a Medical Technician to conduct medical office based diagnostic tests and analysis as part of Occupational Health screening, surveillance, and regulatory exams. The selected candidate must have a High School diploma (or GED) and a minimum of two years' work experience in healthcare; an Associate's degree in a Health Related field and 2 year work experience is preferred. The candidate must be CPR/AED certified and possess a certificate of completion from an accredited spirometry training program. If not currently certified must become certified to perform spirometry within three months of hire. Experience performing office-based testing including vision, hearing and EKG is required. Solid organizational and communication skills as well as competency in Microsoft Office Products are a must. The successfully candidate should also be experienced in performing urine dipstick testing; as well as obtaining vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, height, weight and respiratory rate. Experience with medical record administration including scanning and filing medical charts, familiarly with scheduling office appointments and experience in an Occupational Health environment is preferred. Familiarity with drug testing programs is also preferred.



Additional:

The selected candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities as required, and possess a willingness and ability to work and learn in a fast-paced service environment. The candidate should also be familiar with a corporate occupational health or medical office environment.








Responsibilities:


Physical Requirements: This position requires sitting at a workstation (desk), working on computers for extended periods of time, and standing to use copier/scanner/fax. Selected candidate will write, type, and answer the telephone during this time. This work requires excellent manual dexterity and continuous use of hands. Selected candidate must be able to climb stairs, as well as stoop, bend, reach, and kneel to file documents. A valid driver's license is required. Must be willing and able to travel to company service territory, as needed and to work on Mobile Medical Trailers that may be stationed in all five boroughs and Westchester County.

Qualifications: The Human Resources Compensation department is seeking a Section manager to join it’s team. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or a related field and 8 to 10 years of broad experience with compensation and/or benefits plans. Experience with legal, accounting, financial aspects or design of salary, variable pay compensation programs or non-qualified benefits is required. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate: • Working knowledge of executive compensation processes and systems. • Strong attention to detail with a process orientation. • A high level of accuracy, even under pressure. • Excellent analytical skills. • Customer focus; experience dealing with senior level officers. • Success as a team leader and team member. • Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal and presentation skills. • Ability to exercise good judgement and render sound decisions; discretion is required in all aspects of this position. • High Motivation, self-reliance, resourceful and articulate. • Flexibility to handle multiple assignments and projects. • Experienced in recognizing opportunities to improve existing process and controls; an effective change agent. Applicants with the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation and/or a Masters degree is a plus.




Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance for the uniform application of the company’s management salary administration policies. Manage the executive compensation process and systems. Recommend policies, plans and procedures with respect to fair and equitable payment to exempt employees. Interpret reports and surveys to maintain the Company’s competitive position with regard to compensation levels and structures. Administering and maintaining an adequate classification and compensation program for exempt personnel. Recommend and prepare policies, procedures and controls governing salary compensation practices. Plan and direct the administration of the Company's executive compensation plans and preparing related reports. As directed, prepare confidential reports for the Board of Trustees, the Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer, and other executives of the Company. Prepare and update rate case exhibits, testimony and interrogatories for compensation programs filed with the Public Service Commission. Ensure compliance with various governmental regulations affecting benefit and compensation programs as well as compliance with internal Company policies, and procedures. Assisting with preparing the Compensation Discussion and Analysis report including the compensation tables and potential payments upon termination of employment or change in control tables included in CEI's annual proxy statement and Consolidated Edison Company of New York's information statement. Working in concert with all levels of management to properly evaluate and recommend solutions to problems pertaining to salary compensation programs, policies, procedures and controls. Researching laws, regulations, etc. to obtain current information on topics relevant to salary matters. Act as an authorizing agent covering changes in individual salary and position title. Direct the activities pertaining to the information data base utilized for salary administration. Continuously reviewing the data processing systems and developing the most effective and efficient methods of operation for salary administration purposes and required reports. Act as advice and counsel to all levels of management in the day-to-day administration of the Company salary program and policies. Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
