Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

All HR Professionals (HRP’s) provide human resource support to company organizations consistent with strategic needs. The selected candidate will rotate between three HR teams that support Electric Operations. The selected candidate will initially manage large scale projects in addition to acclimating to the HRP role. Provide advice and counsel to supervisors, managers, officers and union employees on all aspects related to the human resource function. Partner with organizations to identify human resource issues to include: staffing and recruitment, restructuring and reorganizations, career development, training, EEO and diversity initiatives, lost time control, labor relations, employee relations, performance management, compensation -salary and wage administration, investigations and discipline. Develop and implement plans to address key issues. Must be able to work in a team environment, and spend significant time in the field assisting company personnel. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Expertise in computer applications MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. Previous experience with electronic medical records, specifically Medgate, is preferred. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills will allow the incumbent to be flexible to manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines, which is also required for this position.

Responsibilities:

Both HR Professional titles (HRP’s) provide Human Resource services to Company organizations consistent with strategic needs. Provide advice and counsel to supervisors, managers, officers and bargaining unit employees on all aspects related to the human resource function. Partner with organizations to identify human resource issues to include: staffing and recruitment, restructuring and reorganizations, career development, training, EEO and diversity initiatives, lost time control, labor relations, employee relations, performance management, compensation -salary and wage administration, investigations and discipline. Develop and implement plans to address key issues. Must be able to work in a team environment, and spend significant time in the field assisting company personnel. Qualifications: Occupational Health is seeking a highly motivated, energetic individual to join its team as a staff physician. The ideal candidate must be a Doctor of Medicine (MD/DO) with a minimum of 6 years of post-graduate experience in a primary care, urgent care or emergency room setting. Candidate must have license to practice medicine in New York State, or the ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license upon appointment. Must be board certificated /board eligible in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Other specialty areas will be considered depending on experience. If not board certified at time of hire, must obtain within one year of hire. NRCME certification or willingness to obtain within three months of hire. MRO certification or willingness to obtain within six months of hire. Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations. Minimum of three years’ experience in occupational health preferred. The incumbent must have professional, polished oral and written communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer applications MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. Previous experience with electronic medical records, specifically Medgate, preferred. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills will allow the incumbent to be flexible to manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines, which is also required for this position. Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills are required to be effective in this role.

Provide support to the Director and Administrative Physicians during periods of his/her absence. Maintain employee confidentiality and protect the integrity of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Personal Health Information (PHI). Perform all other duties assigned by the Administrative Physician and Director in support of Departmental function. Other projects, related tasks and assignments as required.
