Qualifications: Construction is seeking a dedicated professional with proven leadership abilities and strong technical knowledge and experience to join its Construction Services team. The successful candidate will direct and coordinate maintenance and capital projects performed by Construction Services’ personnel and ensure that work is performed in a safe, efficient, economical and environmentally sound manner. A Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years work experience is required. A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience is required. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organization skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and internal and external customers is essential. Good computer skills are required including Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project, and knowledge of Company database systems, such as Maximo and the Maintenance Technical Library (MTL). Must be committed to fostering a Zero Accident Culture, Achieving Operational Excellence and Developing an effective Cost Management Culture and Enhancing customers experience, as well as implementing Human Performance Initiatives (HPI).



Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred. Candidates must have extensive experience/knowledge in the maintenance of boilers, motors, generators, pumps and piping systems associated with steam generating systems. Experience in substations and facilities maintenance preferred • Experience using the MAXIMO Work Management system • Experience supervising a union workforce • Experience working with Union leadership • Demonstrated ability to lead a large field organization

Responsibilities: Field Project Management: Will review customers’ work requests and allocate resources to meet their goals. This involves understanding the abilities & skills of the workforce, as well as, the management team under his /her direction. Will ensure work is being performed productively, utilizing tracking systems, such as Microsoft Project, Engage and Excel to determine the efficiency of our work. Will meet with customers and the Project Manager of each area to ensure the department is meeting their expectations. Will be required to work closely with Planners to establish critical path schedules to ensure we meet sensitive commitment dates driven internally or externally. Must ensure that the workforce has the proper tools and material to execute their work efficiently, and must explore new initiatives to improve work processes. Construction Manager meets annually with our customers to establish budget requirements for the following year. Field Project Administration: Provide management, direction and technical advice to assigned supervisors so that work progresses according to schedule and meets engineering specifications. Secure all necessary engineering and technical support and make recommendations for vendor assistance to the Operations Manager as needed. Direct Supervisors on implementing work improvement methods and productivity improvements. Monitor professionalism of employees and ensure that programs are in place to ensure compliance to rules, regulations and procedures. Record Keeping: Assure that all time and records associated with the completion of work is accurate, by conducting self-audits. Assure that all major overhaul activities are documented and reviewed by senior management. Initiate post-outage review meetings for overhaul assessment. Environmental Health & Safety: Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected and in compliance with Company policy and government regulations.


Physical Requirements: Must be able to work extended hours, as required. A valid driver's license is required

Qualifications: Construction Services is seeking a qualified individual to join our Machine Shop Team as a Millwright. (Machinist) The nature of this job requires an individual to be familiar The duties of this position are: maintenance to machinery and equipment as required, ensuring machinery runs smoothly to enhance daily production levels, evaluating performance of machinery and ordering parts for machinery. The Millwright must be able to read manuals and specifications, ensure quality workmanship and detailed precise paperwork completed. This position also requires that individual must be competent on all types of precision measuring equipment. In addition, this will require knowledge in the area of troubleshooting, testing, installation and repair. Perform basic and routine maintenance on electrical equipment up to 600 volt. Must be able to inspect machine shop equipment to find root cause of problems and recommend repairs and upgrades. Experience should be based upon hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems. Safety is a fundamental of every task. Candidate should have experience with Lock out Tag out and maintain good housekeeping practices. The successful candidate must be a strong team player but also have the ability to work independently. Machine shop experience, mechanical aptitude (five years' experience) and relevant trade certification is preferred. Candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities:


Physical Requirements: Selected candidate must be capable of lifting 45-60 pounds, work in confined spaces, possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to walk, climb, and stand extensively, and must be medically approved to wear a respirator and all required protective equipment. Selected candidates must be able to work a rotating shift and may be required to work overtime and off hour shifts, as needed. Must be comfortable with height.
