Qualifications: To provide skilled, efficient, and confidential administrative support to the 3 General Managers of Bronx/Westchester Electric Operations. This individual must have a high energy level, positive attitude, be results oriented and exercise independent judgment and discretion. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of Management and the Union are required. The incumbent must possess a high level of customer service, tact and sensitivity. The individual must have a strong attention to detail, be able to learn and anticipate work requirements and be able to prioritize deliverables. The incumbent must be a self-starter and have the ability to multitask and maintain a flexible work schedule. This individual must be able to exercise indepent judgment and discretion in the coordination of projects, reports and information and to maintain a strict level of confidentiality related to all aspects of work. The ideal candidate will be conscientious, demonstrate a “can-do” attitude along with strong presentation and interpersonal skills, have exemplary follow-up skills, and be flexible with work hours when business needs or system conditions require immediate or additional attention.



Required Skillsets/Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required with at least 5 years of relevant work experience or


Administrative/Executive Assistant training with at least 2 years of Executive/Administrative Assistant experience.


Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)


Must be flexible, demonstrate strong customer focus and possess the ability to work under pressure.


Must demonstrate the ability to apply speedwriting skills.


The ideal candidate must possess excellent follow-up skills with the ability to bring open items to closure.


Must have professional, polished communication skills in person, over the phone and through email.



Responsibilities: Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.

Provide administrative support to the 3 General Managers of Bronx/Westchester Electric Operations and provide additional support to his/her direct reports and staff as needed.


Prepare correspondence, memos and other documents as required.


Review and streamline office processes for optimum efficiency.


Schedules and maintains appointments/meetings, travel and expense accounts, reimbursement and billing arrangements when requested.


Establishes and maintains follow-up action files as required on complaint activities, meetings, conferences, and responses.


Support the maintaining of the management and union payroll work management and payroll reporting systems.


Coordinate and manage various human resource issues, including payroll inquiries, corporate organization chart revisions, grievance backup/tracking, and grievance response letters using appropriate applications.


Manage administrative activities related to progress tracking/trending, such as organizational KPI’s.


Utilizes company systems in order to maintain office files and direct the flow of information efficiently.


Assist with special projects, duties or responsibilities as necessary. Responding to requests and all other duties as assigned.


Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.



Physical Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license

Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed


Must be able to participate in the Company’s emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
