Qualifications: The Business Associate will ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. A Bachelors’ Degree required, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related degree. Must be familiar with Tableau Software or similar analytics tools and have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Must have one year relevant work experience (including Co-Op or internship). Strong oral and written communication skills required. Must be well organized, detail oriented, possess strong decision making skills and demonstrates flexibility to handle multiple assignments.




Responsibilities: The Business Associate will be responsible for reviewing, trending and analyzing operational performance including the development of reports and dashboards using Tableau or similar applications. This includes working closely with key business stakeholders, discussing organizational needs, gathering requirements, providing insight into the data, identify areas for improvement in support of business needs. The overall objective is to improve the customer experience by creating visibility into various data sets and operational activities to enable organizations to improve their efficiency and productivity.


Physical Requirements: • Must have a valid driver’s license. • Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed. • Must be willing to respond off hours. • Must be able to participate in the Company’s emergency management processes and storm plans as required.

Qualifications: Selected candidates for this position must have a minimum of an AAS degree in Electrical Technology or a minimum of four years equivalent work experience & a HS Diploma or GED (BS in Electrical Engineering welcome). Candidates must have a working knowledge of Basic AC and DC electrical power theory and circuit analysis, including 3 phase AC power systems. These candidates must also have a working knowledge of mathematics and be able to learn to perform calculations involving basic trigonometry and vector analysis. Selected candidates must also have knowledge of, and experience with computer systems, and must be able to use a computer to perform automated testing and prepare spreadsheets and technical reports. Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and will be required to pass the PST Electrical Technician placement exam. Selected candidates will perform testing, troubleshooting and repairs on protective relays and systems, overhead and underground switching and regulating devices, substation equipment, control systems and communication systems (SCADA - Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) in substations and at other field locations. These candidates must possess the ability for Bucket Truck Aerial and Ladder Line training and once trained, will be required to perform Storm Emergency restoration (Ladder Line) work, as needed. Selected candidates must be able to work a rotating schedule and must be able to obtain a CDL license.














Responsibilities:


Physical Requirements: Extensive climbing/walking/standing, and the ability to push/pull/lift heavy equipment (60-80 lbs. in weight) are required. Selected candidates must be able to work in various weather and station conditions (e.g., extreme heat and noise, confined spaces, etc.), must be able to work in the vicinity of high voltage and other high-energy systems, and must be medically qualified to wear a respirator. These candidates must also be able to work in manholes, as certain underground testing may require manhole and transformer manhole environment work. A valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle for company business is required.

Qualifications: Bronx and Westchester Electric Operations - Control Center is looking to hire an Operating General Supervisor to join its team. Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering with (3) three years of related technical work experience. Or an Associate’s Degree with minimum (4) years of related experience or High School diploma pus (7) years of related technical work experience. Knowledge in the Operation, design, maintenance and restoration of the Electrical distribution system.)Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and experience managing an Operating organization. Must have excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to exercise independent judgment, demonstrate excellent problem solving abilities and be able to render sound business decisions. Candidate must be extremely well organized, detail oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and be committed to providing exemplary customer service. Must be able to evaluate, prioritize and respond rapidly to changing conditions on the electrical distribution system. Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of the computer related Control Center applications including but not limited toOMS (STAR/Web WorkSpace), WMS (Logica), SCADA (XA21, USA, RealFlex) and Feeder Apps (such as Feeder Board, Outage Scheduling, NetRMS and Rapid Restore. Must have a thorough knowledge and technical experience in the design, operation, repair, and safe restoration of the electric distribution system. Must have an excellent working knowledge of the Con Edison's "General Instructions Governing Work On System Electrical Equipment" and the appropriate Engineering Instructions and Engineering Orders. Must have extensive knowledge of all related safety and environmental procedures.



One to three years of supervisory experience is preferred. Selection is based on departmental interview, entry level testing, psychological interview and background check.

Ensures subordinates work activities are performed in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with established procedures and policies. Supervise, dispatch and coordinate all subordinate titled personnel in the repair and restoration of underground high-tension conductors and equipment on the electric distribution system. Controls and documents all work related activities on high tension feeders by permitting only authorized personnel to sign off feeder assignments. The OGS coordinates feeder work as directed by the District Operator (DO) in conjunction with feeder Control representative manual, notifies all company departments and/or outside agencies as required by procedures during emergency conditions and as needed. Directs and monitors switching on 4Kv and 13Kvoverhead and underground distribution system facilities using Control Center applications such as Supervisor Control/Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Outage Management. Communicates coordinates and controls standards, measurement, procedures for supervisor and subordinate titles to effect safe and efficient work practices. Administers and communicates operating procedures and engineering plans and specs to personal to ensure proper operations repair and restoration of underground conductors, devices and equipment 12.Prepares reports and updates applications associated with banks off, shunts, bridges, C and D Faults, etc. Responsible for the repair and restoration of underground high tension conductors, services and devices to ensure the safety of all crews and in compliance with procedures, engineering plans and specs. Enforces Company procedures and personal policies and practices. Plans, organizes, schedules and assigns supervisory personal and their crews to optimize productivity and meet operating and system conditions. Monitors activities of al underground construction and cable crews during the off watch. Enforces Company policies and procedures relating to EEO, Chemical Substance Abuse, Discipline, Security, Productivity and Environmental. Reviews and implements System Operations, Distribution Services and other company polices and directives. Supervise the Senior Office Assistant in drawing emergency layouts associated with repair, reliability and removal of defective cable splices and troubles feeders During storms and heat events, may provide assistance in trouble and emergency repair. May perform other related assigns as needed


Physical Requirements: Must work rotating shift, must have a valid driver’s license and must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
