Qualifications: Corporate Security is seeking an individual that is highly motivated and promotes a positive work ethic in support of the Company's Way We Work Principles and the Company’s safety, health and environmental programs



Twenty years experience as a professional law enforcement officer (attaining minimum of Second Grade Detective) with investigative background or equivalent. The Law Enforcement background must include hands on experience with physical technical equipment and be well versed in emerging electronic technology. Experience with surveillance operations, interviewing techniques and proven liaison experience with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. Prior experience repairing/maintaining physical security technical equipment such as cameras, access control and DVRs is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point and Excel. Must have strong analytical skills and be capable of making decisions promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities: Analyze and make improvement recommendations for all security needs within assigned territory including but not limited to protection of assets within a facility, perimeter protection methods (both physical and electronic) employed, investigating criminal acts committed by employees and/or against the company. Must possess strong analytical, organizational and investigative skills in order to handle multiple assignments, changing priorities and achieve deadlines. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to effectively interact with business unit personnel and various levels of management throughout the company. Prepare clear, concise and informative reports and make presentations as necessary to management. Perform special assignments and programs as directed by the (Area) Manager.



Using a law enforcement mindset, analyze and make improvements recommendations for all physical security needs within assigned territory including but not limited to protection of assets within a facility, perimeter protection methods employed (both physical and electronic). Must understand, have hands on experience and be well-versed in emerging electronic technology used for physical protection of facilities. Investigate criminal acts against the company and employees by internal and external forces. Evaluate existing security measures in place to protect the company’s assets and devise improvement strategies taking into account operational procedures and financial constraints. Prepare detailed well written investigative reports documenting facts and circumstances related to reported incidents. Perform off-hour verification of security measures in place including vehicle and package inspections. Conduct ad hoc training sessions on protecting company and personal property, violence in the workplace prevention, identity theft preventive measures, etc. Liaise with local law enforcement authorizes on matters of mutual interests. Perpetuates a security awareness environment within assigned area. Perform maintenance and repair of physical security technical equipment such as cameras, card access and DVRs. Performs other related assignments as required.

Physical Requirements: Driver's license required. Must be available to work weekends and off hours during storm emergencies .
